China Mobile connects to Pakistan
The first cross-border acquisition by China Mobile Communications sees it value Millicom's Pakistan telecom business at $460 million.
China Mobile Communications is making its first cross-border acquisition, buying Paktel in Pakistan at an enterprise value of $460 million. It will pay Millicom of Sweden - which owns 88.86% of Paktel – a cash consideration of $284 million. Police stations in Islamabad to be electronically inter-linked
ISLAMABAD: All police, traffic, security and Rescue 15 stations in Islamabad will soon be inter-linked by software under a project titled ‘the e-Enablement of the Islamabad police’.

Chinese missile destroys satellite in space

The prospect of "Star Wars" between China and the West loomed last night after Beijing used a ballistic missile to destroy a satellite in space.
The missile, which hit a 4ft-wide obsolete Chinese weather satellite 530 miles above the Earth, is thought to have been launched from the Xichang space centre in -China's Sichuan province. Read Full Story

Let’s forget about the Iraqi war for a few minutes and concentrate on the sexual war here in America that has targeted our children as innocent victims. Every single day sickening reports emerge of missing and murdered children-- as sexual assaults by teachers, coaches, strangers, and sometimes by the clergy and family members-- make headlines. But what is more sickening to stomach is the little pat on the wrist many predators are receiving by many judges who are allowing them back out on the streets to stalk and molest their next victim/victims--as if this practice should be accepted or tolerated.
