Google to Distribute MTV Shows to Internet Sites, Sell Episodes
Google Inc., owner of the most-used Internet search engine, will distribute video clips from Viacom Inc.'s MTV Networks to Web sites in its advertising network and sell full episodes online.
Web sites will be able to show clips from Nickelodeon's ``SpongeBob SquarePants'' and MTV's ``Laguna Beach'' that are accompanied by advertising, Mountain View, California-based Google said yesterday in an e-mailed statement.
