The Cartoon Issue cost Denmark DKK 28 million

extra expenditure of DKK 28 million – this is the extra bill for the Danish Ministry of Foreign Affairs after the Mohammed crisis at the beginning of 2006, Jyllands-Posten wrote today.In total, evacuation, protection of embassies and intensive diplomatic activities have caused the extra expenditure of DKK 28 million after the cartoons published in Jyllands-Posten triggered trade boycots, violent demonstrations and attacks against Danish embassies in a number of Muslim countries. What a waste, not to mention the people who have died.

I heard they might be republishing the comics in Australia.

I don't understand why they have to be so hateful. I think the publishers actually enjoy making people angry and offending them.
